Last year, India surged ahead of China to become the UK’s main source of international students. An astonishing 161,000 pupils and 33,240 dependents came from India for education in the UK. Out of all the individuals granted a Graduate Route visa in 2021, 41% were Indian nationals, as illustrated by recent UK immigration figures.
